A short history in pictures
Redberger started out in late 1999 as a personal website and online portfolio. The web then atleast in Manila, was just at its infancy and Redberger was one of the more colorful Filipino Websites out there.
In 2001, Redberger Preaching Season was launched as a follow up. A mixture of eastern and western religionus imagery, It was hugely successful with the international design community. This volume is to blame for redberger’s notoriety on the web.
Detail of one of the artworks for Preaching Season. The website was a finalist for the arts category at the South by Southwest Interactive Awards (SXSW) in 2002.
In 2002 followed the flash based Everlusting. The volume in flash was a series of animated collages with sex charged imagery and soundclips.

Mga Larawan Hango sa Santa Lucia, the 4th volume contained dark themed still images taken and inspired by a remote baranggay in the outskirts of Quezon City.
Histrionics Of a Balding Drama King is my old online journal that won the best personal website at the Philippine Web Awards in 2005.
Given the popularity and ease of update blogs afford busy people like me, the current incarnation will see both site concepts merged with each other (redberger + the histrionics blog), making redberger both a blog and a personal art space.
