Une Semaine De Bonte
A surrealistic novel in collage by Max Ernst. Its a paperback i got from Amazon’s pre-owned online bookstore. It doesnt ship outside the states so I had it sent to my mom; she in turn shipped it here via forex. I think i got it for the cheap, below 5 dollars.
This was how collages looked before Mckean and the advent of digital means.
There used to be a xeroxed but hard bounded book at the UP College of Fine Arts titled “Fantasy Art,” sorry i cant remember the author na. I would borrow it for days and pour over incredible images like these. Yun ata ang naging inspirasyun ko to delve into collages; that and knowing that i cant draw or paint for shit.
